Wondering if anyone knew my dad.

He served 65-69 in Vietnam.
I believe he was 2/9 Echo Company
Ssgt James E Parman.
He has a video at the Library of congress

02 January 2026:  Received the following email from Angela Morris seeking contact with anyone who may have know her Dad, Randy Morris
 
Hello,
I found my father, Randy Morris, listed on your site under Hotel company.  Unfortunately he has passed away on December 4th. He had a jacket that says Hell in a Helmet and I was able to find you through a search.  My dad was wounded and received a purple heart. I've heard so many stories, but wish I'd written them down.  I'd love to learn more and would like to speak to anyone who served with my father in Vietnam if there is anyone from your group that remembers him or was with him there which I think was around 1969?

03 January 2026:  Received the following email from Candy Warren asking for contact with anyone who may have known her Uncle, LCpl Sam William Busby, 3rd Platoon, Golf who was KIA on 27 February 1969.  Photos are included following her email.  
 
Hi, 
My Uncle Sam lost his life in Vietnam on Feb 27, 1969. I am trying to find anyone who knew him and possibly was in his platoon. I was hoping maybe you could help. My youngest Uncle (Sam’s baby brother born in 1969) has been searching but has been unsuccessful in finding anyone. It would mean the world to him to connect with someone and would mean the world to ME if I could help make this happen. I know it’s a long shot but I figured I would take a chance anyway. 

His info is as Follows:
Lance Corporal Sam William Busby
 3rd Platoon, Golf Company, 2nd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, Third Marine Amphibious Force.
